PROBLEMS MAKE IT INTERESTING THAT’S THE WHOLE POINT THERE WOULDN’T BE A STORY TO TELL IF THERE WASN’T A PROBLEM
I am vaguely concerned that people think a coffee shop AU that is 100,000 words doesn’t have conflict. Fanfic has conflict. Any good writing has conflict.
Conflict is not just fighting or explosions or gunshots in the dark. Conflict can you be dithering about getting out of bed, it can be not having your coffee yet, it can be two people trying to find the courage to talk to each other… all those are sources of conflict.
